The world and their mother knew where Hurst placed his penalties. Few keepers could save them though, and Banks was perhaps the world's best.

Been a few by 2 goals recently . But bottom line, we don't roll over anymore.

Good to see us finaly get a win, 4-0 sounds great but this was a dog shit Norwich, another step towards 6th, but that massive obsiticle of Man city is the next hurdle.....COYI

Didn't we lose three nil to Chelsea last season? Although two of those goals were very late in so it felt like we were still in the game till pretty much the end.

Alex G - I heard on some commentary that West Ham have not been beaten by more than 2 goals since Moyes took over. That's some going. Say what you want but we are no longer a pushover and even with ten men we have team that continues fighting.

It's fair comment that we've not had a proper thumping at any point this season*. I wonder when we last got through a top flight season without losing a match by more then two goals?

It is just good to see us put away week opposition clinically.
One good thing this season is that we have given anyone a good game and have never done our usual capitulation against the stronger squads.

I thought Benny started the season well before fading slightly, although he looks like the player in our squad most likely to create a goal out of nothing.

I'd put him at a similar level right now to where Bowen was this time last year - some definite quality but still learning what works and when to do it at the top level and struggling for consistency. If he can step up next season in the same way Jarrod has this season then we'll have a terrifying forward line with the two of them cutting in from the flanks.

Just seen the goals. Three of them were gifted to us on a silver platter. The second Benny goal was very good though. Fabianski got away with it for their rightly disallowed goal.

Didn't see it (aside from 3 mins sky sports highlighta) so can't comment on performance. However glad benny got a couple and antonio scored. Hopefully will help with their confidence.

Still think there's a good player In benny. Just needs to be more consistent and I think confidence plays a huge part in his game. He has the ability to cha ge a game and is always trying something... whether it works out or not.

Also think he needs to spend summer in the gym with a bucket of creatine and bulk up a bit

Can I just say how amazing the fans were. Not stop singing. Some great old school songs came out and great support for Moyes , Cresswell and Noble.

Just what I wanted from the fans, the management and the players.

Every player was supported and sung about, lots of David Moyes claret and blue army, and, though I love the fella, the dropping of Soucek. We wouldn’t have kept the ball as much with him on the pitch. I wonder if he’s carrying a knock or really was dropped.

The three injuries are bitterly worrying. A high price for three points, if they are season ending.

My Carlsberg script for the next match is a 1-0 win, Noble penalty, then wish the mancs luck out scoring Liverpool on the last day, when we turn over Brighton, giving not a flying fuck what Man U do.
